Trunks had achieved the power of Super Saiyan 2 and is able to fight on par with Super Saiyan 2 Goku, but not Super Saiyan 3. At age 31, he returned to the present-day timeline to ask Goku and Vegeta to help fight against Goku Black. After, Trunks went back to his timeline and killed Future Dabura and Future Babidi, preventing the resurrection of Future Majin Buu.
